CONCEPT
Façade and Circulation Enhancement The Terminal 1, 2, and 3 Façade and Circulation Project has two major components. The first reconfigures the landside face of each of the three terminals. The line of the main façade is moved 20' closer to the existing curbfront to create a new zone for landside vertical circulation, i.e., escalators and elevators. This allows the existing escalators to be removed creating more queuing and circulation space in front of the check-in counters. The second major component is the renovation of all public view areas in Terminals 2 and 3 which remain much as they were when built nearly 30 years ago. New flooring, ceilings, lighting and wall treatments will be provided as well as new check-in counters and passenger amenities such as flight information displays, telephones and advertising display enclosures.
